The 4rd edition of Almost A Night Award (ALAN) took place on the 13th of December 2020 at Hill Park Hotel Bamenda bringing together some of the big entertainers and fans of showbiz West of the Mungo.
Film makers, Actors and actresses, fashion designers, models, comedians, bloggers, business entrepreneurs and fans of showbiz were all on hand to grace this edition. A total of 110 nominations were made with 22 winners in the following categories:
Best Feature Film - Full moon
Best Short film - The Myth by Chi Njoya
Best Actor in lead role - Vugar Samson in Full Moon
Best Actress in lead role -Nchini Sylvia Bright
Best Actress in supporting role -Kiko Elizabeth in the movie Trapped
Best Actor in supporting role -Seehofer Roland in Painful Tears
Best Actor in Short Film -Ngwa Bernard
Best screenplay fullmoon- C.Leslie and Ngang Romanus
Best Director- Chefor Leslie
Best cinematographer- Chefor Leslie in the movie Full Moon,
Best Content Creator -Cle Pictures
Best Upcoming Artist- Black Fame
Best Hip Hop Artist- Young Holiday

The Awards were Handed over to the awardees or their representatives by sponsors and stakeholders in the industry comprising of some Ex Biggy237 House mates.
Talking with the organizer Mr Menkemndi Randy, he says the main challenge while organizing this year’s edition of ALAN was “The Lack of Partners And Sponsors to bring in the resources needed to run the entire event. But generally it was a successful event given that amidst the crisis and every thing, we still had over 200 people in the hall excluding the nominees”.

How the Team plans to better next Year’s edition of the show he says “We shall begin proper planning as early as January 2021, do an early scouting for sponsorship, Make provision for a better sound system, a more accessible venue and a stronger publicity of the show”.Worth noting about ALAN is the fact that it is amongst the top and most prestigious Award shows in the North West and Cameroon in general. ALAN celebrates entertainers and entertainment stake holders with the goal of giving them and the industry the visibility they deserve. ALAN is out to recognize and promote talents in the different fields of entertainment in Cameroon and the Northwest in particular.
The Almost A Night Award is organised by Noble Arts Entertainment company under the supervision and coordination of Mr Menkemndi Randy who doubles as the CEO. ALAN takes place yearly specifically in the month of December. ALAN was created in 2016, same year the first edition took place.
