Promoters of Peace and National Unity in Cameroon will take centre stage this weekend when they shall be recognized for their efforts in promoting the peace and national unity of Cameroon.
This will be in Bafoussam on Saturday July 10, 2021 at the conference Hall of the Bafoussam city council during The Watchdog Tribune National Press Award for Peace Heroes/Heroines and champions of national unity in Cameroon for 2020/2021.
Taking place within the context of the political and health crisis facing Cameroon, the press award is aimed at promoting and encouraging Cameroonians and institutions with very high spirit of patriotism.
According to the publisher of The Watchdog Tribune, Dotta Ezekiel, it is thanks to the efforts of those to be awarded that Cameroon is the way it is.
"If not for the love of country demonstrated by those who will be receiving their awards next Saturday and many other patriotic Cameroonians, the situation in the country would have been worsen", Dotta Ezekiel said in a press statement.

The Watchdog Tribune National Press Award for Peace Heroes/Heroines and champions of National Unity in Cameroon will uphold the spirit of Patriotism and National Unity in Cameroonians both home and abroad and remind them of the need to do all to protect the integrity and cultural values of Cameroon.
More than 50 laureates under different categories have been earmarked for Saturday's award ceremony.
These laureates were selected were selected from a list of 93 nominated by the public. Some of these laureates were exceptionally voted for award in gold and in silver for their exceptional contributions to peace and national unity in the country.
Amongst those to be awarded this weekend are North West Governor Adolphe Lele Afrique, Mme Justine Diffo Tchunkam, Barrister Emmanuel Nsahlai, Chi Asafor, Mayor Chenwi Peter.
The award shall take place on Saturday July 10, 2021 at the conference Hall of the Bafoussam city council.
