CAMTEL's BLUE HOME Goes Operational

The premier product of Cameroon Telecommunications, CAMTEL's new commercial brand; BLUE has dropped in the market.

Cameroon's premium but affordable telecommunications network, CAMTEL launched the BLUE HOME product, Tuesday August 31.

“The launching of this new product is very important to us because we have to satisfy our customers and make them feel at ease for all our products and know that we are here to serve them", CAMTEL's Deputy GM, Daniel Désiré Olle told the media during the product launch.

At launch, Blue Home is available in some 18 sales points (Blue branches, Camtel’s Agencies, Shop) in Yaounde and Douala, to be extended to the rest of the regions early 2022, the Deputy GM assured.

Blue Home is solution to the worries of internet users in Cameroon, designed for household use, small enterprises, shops and by start-ups.

In her pursuit to brand Cameroon as the Digital Hub in Africa, Blue Home will target the over 90% of Cameroonian households that do not enjoy the top standard services of CAMTEL.

“Internet penetration rate for home broadband in Cameroon is 2%, it is still very low, and the fastest solution to help break the digital divide is through Blue Home, it is fast to deploy, fast to connect, it is plug and play with no installations required.” Zama Edmond Che, project manager at Blue Home revealed while presenting the product to the public.

In the days ahead, CAMTEL's commercial brand, BLUE promises more customer and community friendly products to hit the market for digital enjoyment of all Cameroonians.
