Football: YOSA's Management, Players & Supporters hold Emergency Meeting

Following the poor performance of Elite One side Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda, an emergency meeting was held in the early hours of May 19, 2022.

The focus of the meeting was to examine the cause of the poor performance of the team in its last five outings which ended with 4 defeats and 1 draw.

In attendance were the two presidents of the team Yong Jacques, Afuh Yong, Vice President Chi Mitterrand, Team Captain Tegemo Emmanuel, Coach Nkabyo Martin, and Supporters Club President Mbole Denis.

Coach Nkabyo Martin regretted the performance of the team.

"We are more affected than anyone with the series of defeats recorded in the last outings of the team. It is more difficult for us because it is our job and it is now on like. However, we are committing to improving on our performance to make the management and supporters happy" Nkabyo explains.

The Club's Presidents and Vice unanimously agreed to increase the bonuses of the players in their next upcoming games.

Team Captain Tegemo Emmanuel on behalf of his mates expressed disappointment over their performance but promised to talk with his mates.

"I will talk to my mates to ensure we all commit to increasing our output," Tegemo said

The Supporters Club President Mbole Denis assured them of the motivation from supporters which has for a while come to add to the bonuses given to players.

"On behalf of the fans, we will increase our mini mini availability that will boost the morals of the team".

Adding that together we can make the team better so it returns to the winning days.

YOSA will today face Racing of Bafoussam in a Day 15 encounter of the MTN Elite One Championship at Annex 1 Olembe Stadium in Bamenda.
