The Bamenda II council has officially launched the equipment pool of the council with the reception of a brand new front head loader.
The launching of the equipment pool and the reception of the front head loader took place Sunday, September 25, 2022, in Bamenda.
Gordan Anyele, the contracting officer in charge of the SMS Front head loader, 655 D is the best in the market and he believes the Bamenda II council went in for the best. He disclosed that in the days ahead, the council will also be receiving a 30ton dump truck.
To Chenwi Peter, mayor of the Bamenda II council, the coming of the front head loader is a dream come true for the Bamenda II municipality and the equipment will go a long way to foster the development strides of the municipality.

Representing the Bamenda City Council, the 1st Deputy City Mayor, Ndoh David Chi, reminded the councilors and people of Bamenda II that the municipality is the heart of the city and they cannot continue playing politics and stay in the bush.
"We cannot go in for collateral damage. This equipment has to go into use immediately for the good of the people", the 1st Deputy City said.
On his part, The Section President of Mezam 1B and General Manager of the North West Development Authority Anye Cletus Matoya saluted the strides made so far by the mayor of the Bamenda II council and his councilors.

The front head loader and 30-ton dump truck cost the Bamenda II council 255 million francs.
